User experience highlights the hands-on, effective, meaningful and valuable aspects of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). However, it also covers a person’s perceptions of the practical aspects such as utility, ease of use and efficiency of the system.

We all encounter user experience in our everyday lives; every time we get into our car, when we go to the super market, use a home stereo or interact with a brand.

User Centred Design can be characterized as a multi-stage problem solving process that not only requires designers to analyse and foresee how users are likely to use an interface, but also to test the validity of their assumptions.
